SEO FAQ: "Real" Content

Whenever you can, always make sure your content is "real" text on a webpage. Real text content is always better than a PDF file or even an image containing informational data (charts, tables, graphs, etc). While images like these can be extremely helpful to the human visitor, the search engines prefer "real", readable text. If in doubt, make sure that the information depicted in your informational graphics are also written in the actual text content of the page.

This was an eye opener for me. I went to my website, it is older, and I was able to see that some of my important text was really just an image. That has since been changed.

Thanks for your website! I would have never even thought to look to see if it was done correctly. I am really learning a lot from your guide too. It's more than just SEO!
