Well, it seems like we've hit a bit of a snag. The link building has continued, but it seems as though we've hit some kind of ceiling in the results pages. The site is now "stable" at position #8 on the first page of Google, but it has not moved up from that position. I knew that hitting a plateau would be likely, but I didn't expect it to be so close to the goal of position #1.

So, what to do? I don't have unlimited funds, so I will be running the test for a few more weeks and then I'll pull the plug. It will end up being a 60 day link building test. I'll definitely write a report at that time, and then another report on how permanent the gains prove to be. That report will probably be about a month after the test has ended. I'll watch closely in the ensuing months to see what happens and report it here.
