I have some bad news to report. Unfortunately, I've had to fire my virtual assistant (VA)... again. Based on my observations and of course the screen shots that are automatically taken of my VA's desktop when they are supposedly working for me, I have concluded that my VA is yet again working on other people's link building projects and not my own... on my paid time. Obviously this isn't something anyone would want to have to pay for, so naturally I fired them.

It really is unfortunate, as I was nearing the end of my little experiment - especially since it seemed to stall last week at position #8. Come to think about it, that's around the time I noticed that my VA wasn't really working on my project anymore. The excuse last time was that she left town and let her brother take over all of her work for her, and was confused about who's work to do during what paid-time. As unprofessional as that is, I let it slide, as she reassured me it would never happen again as it had never happened previously. Well... apparently I'm a fool for having believed her again.

I won't be making the same mistake... three times. I have learned my lesson and plan to be a great deal more vigilant when it comes to these things. I will hire another VA to complete the test in the coming days and/or weeks and let you know of any results as they come.
